Scott Ciechna M.D., Family Medicine
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Scott Ciechna provides primary care for patients of all ages. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness and injuries, Dr. Ciechna is an excellent resource for preventive care, routine check-ups, physicals, acute and chronic conditions, immunizations, screening tests, behavioral health, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Ciechna received his medical degree from Southern Illinois University – School of Medicine and completed a family practice residency at Southern Illinois University Center for Family Medicine.
Having grown up in a large family and being the father of five children himself, Dr. Ciechna enjoys caring for entire families in his medical practice. He is committed to developing care plans with input from his patients so they fully understand what’s going on and why. He believes this is critical to the overall success of each patient’s care.

Sherri Davis, P.A.-C., Pediatrics
As a certified pediatric physician assistant, Sherri Davis conducts physical exams, diagnoses and treats illnesses, orders and interprets tests, counsels patients on preventive health care and behavioral health, and prescribes medications under the supervision of a pediatrician. She is committed to contributing to children’s good health and providing appropriate medical treatment when needed.
Sherri earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and education at DePaul University, followed by three years of physician assistant studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove.

Lawton Moy, M.D., Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
As a board-certified internist and pediatrician, Dr. Lawton Moy is specially trained to care for patients of all ages, from newborns through seniors. He believes that getting to know the entire family is important and enjoys taking care of mom, dad, and the children.
As a pediatrician, he feels privileged to have the opportunity to make a positive influence in the lives of children. He understands that each patient is unique and believes in the importance of a trusting patient-physician relationship. Dr. Moy is committed to working hand-in-hand with patients to ensure them the best possible quality of life.
Dr. Moy received his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and completed an internship and residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He is board certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine.

Sarah Pettry-Soto, F.N.P.-B.C., Family Medicine
As a family nurse practitioner, Sarah Pettry-Soto is qualified to serve as the primary health care provider for patients of all ages, including preventive care, routine check-ups, health risk assessments, immunizations, screening tests, behavioral health, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She holds a Family Nurse Practitioner certificate, allowing her to order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose disease, provide appropriate treatments and prescribe medications. Sarah is committed to listening and building trust with her patients to foster an open, honest relationship.
Sarah is also part of the Concussion Management Program at Morris Hospital, providing concussion evaluation and treatment for patients ages 17 and up.
Sarah earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Lewis University in Romeoville. A resident of Morris since the age of 4, she worked as a registered nurse at Morris Hospital from 2016-2021.

Faiz Rahman, M.D., Pediatrics
As a board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Faiz Rahman cares for patients ages newborn through 17. His focus is preventive care, health in infants, children and teens, including illness management, nutritional counseling, immunizations, behavioral health, and physical fitness. Dr. Rahman has a special interest in raising awareness for the prevention and treatment of asthma. In addition, he is an advocate for immunizations and has a special appreciation for caring for ADHD patients.
Dr. Rahman came to Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers after having worked in pediatrics both in Georgia and Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan. He completed a pediatrics residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., and also completed an externship in pediatrics at Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa. Dr. Rahman is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

How do I schedule an appointment?

How do I prepare for my appointment?
Before your appointment, please go to our Forms Center and download and complete our Healthcare Centers – General Patient Registration Form before coming in for your office visit.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete registration and a health questionnaire. If you are a new patient, please arrive 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment.
When you come for your appointments, please remember to bring the following:
- Driver’s License or a valid ID
- Insurance information
- Referral Letter (if required)
- Medical records from previous hospitals and providers including lab results, X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, etc., along with any other relevant information about your medical history
- List of medications (if any)

How do I cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel an appointment, please call the office during business hours at least 1 day prior to your scheduled appointment so that we can offer your appointment time to patients on our waiting list.
Can a friend or relative bring a child under the age of 18 to their exam?
A parent/legal guardian must be present for well child exams.
For acute/sick visits, a parent/legal guardian must be present unless the parent/legal guardian has completed the Just In Case form or called the office in advance to make arrangements.

What is Prescription for Fitness?
Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers and the Morris Hospital YMCA have teamed up to improve the health and wellness of area residents by offering a Prescription for Fitness program. Through this innovative initiative, patients will receive a FREE 30-day membership to the Morris Hospital YMCA when they are referred by a Morris Hospital provider.
The Prescription for Fitness membership includes a free fitness orientation. If you choose to join the Morris Hospital YMCA at the conclusion of your FREE 30 days, your joiner’s fee will be waived if you have visited the Y at least four times during your first 30 days.
