About the Hospital:
- Level II Trauma Center, Level II Perinatal Care Provider, Primary Stroke Certified and we are part of an Accountable Care Organization, since 01/2015. Our long-standing Emergency and Radiology Departments have great reputations as well! Our advanced imaging services provide comprehensive diagnostic and interventional therapies.
- We are a non-for-profit health system that’s a train in motion! Since 03/18, the hospital began a $74 million master facility plan that included expanding our ED which opened early March 2020 (17 private rooms with state-of-the-art features), newly remodeled Cardiac/EMG Diagnostics, renovated infusion therapy and imaging departments (new women’s center!) and streamlined outpatient lab services. In April of 2024, we renovated our perioperative services on the hospital main campus, resulting in state-of-the-art facilities for patients having surgery, endoscopy, and minor procedures and purchased a Mako Robot, while updating our patient registration process. The Morris Hospital YMCA just opened in December of 2024, which is a brand new 60,000 square-foot facility with physician offices!
