55th Anniversary Morris Hospital Auxiliary Gala
The Morris Hospital Auxiliary is excited for our 55th Anniversary Auxiliary Gala on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Jennifer’s Garden in Morris. We hope you have the date saved! Proceeds will be used to support Cardiac Care programs and equipment at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers.
As the leading cause of death in the United States, cardiovascular disease affects many families in our local communities. The physicians and staff at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers are committed to providing advanced cardiovascular care locally. Our comprehensive services include diagnostic testing and advanced treatment in our new $1.7 million catheterization lab, along with three phases of cardiac rehabilitation to assure patients stay on the road to recovery.
Cardiac Care at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers also includes our Rhythm of Our Youth (ROOY) program. Sudden cardiac death (SCD) claims more than 2,000 lives of children and adolescents in the United States each year. SCD is also responsible for approximately 3-5% of deaths that occur in children between the ages of 5-19. Most victims of SCD have had underlying heart conditions. However, many heart defects in today’s youth remain undiagnosed. Working in collaboration with area high schools, ROOY strives to detect existing cardiac abnormalities, so the risks of SCD are minimized. Our program accomplishes this by completing a painless 3-minute test known as an ECG, or electrocardiogram. Results from these tests assist with early identification of cardiac defects that have been known to lead to SCD, which can ultimately save a student’s life.
With your help, we will be able to make needed capital improvements and fund critical, lifesaving cardiac programs. We hope you will consider supporting this important fundraising effort and join us at the event.

Wine Raffle and Bourbon Raffle
A special thank you to Mr. Jack and Mrs. Karen Hynds for donating all the wine and making the Wine raffle possible again this year! Chances to win are available for purchase until 7pm Saturday, February 8th.

Silent Auction
If you’d like to patriciate in our silent auction from the comfort of your home all you have to do is create a bidder account through our online auction portal, this will assign you a bid number to enter on auction items you’d like to bid on. To access the auction website, CLICK HERE.
You will need to enter credit card information in order to be assigned a bid number. If you are bidding on an item you will be notified via text message when you have been outbid. If you win an item, your credit card will be automatically charged at the close of the Silent Auction at 7pm on Saturday, February 8. Morris Hospital Auxiliary staff will contact you the week of Monday, February 12th in regards to picking up the auction item you won.
